Zoe & Anthony - Tasmanian Beachside Wedding

As winter progresses, the days are getting colder so what better way to warm you up than with photos of a gorgeous beach wedding?

Today's couple, Zoe and Anthony got married on 5 February 2011 on Boronia Beach in Kingston, followed by a reception at The Beach Restaurant in Blackman's Bay.

The couple's beautiful wedding photos were taken by one of their groomsmen, Josh McDonald from Four Hills Photography.

Zoe describes the theme for the wedding as relaxed with a touch of exotic Asian flair with a lot of personal touches added to the ceremony and reception. The barefoot bride and her bridesmaids each carried a white paper parasol down the aisle to the song "This Old Love" by Lior.

The bride and groom conducted a sand ceremony combining red and white sands to symbolise combining of their lives.

Zoe wore a lovely silk gown by Ruth Tarvydas, while her bridesmaids were dressed in black dresses by Cooper St.

Making their day all the more special, the couple were able to incorporate a lot of their family and friend's talents into the organisation of the wedding. Anthony's brother was MC, Zoe's sister made the wedding cake and her brother played acoustic guitar at the ceremony.

Their first dance was performed to "You Got The Love" by Florence & The Machine.

The couple have already enjoyed a fun-filled mini-moon in NSW where they rode bicycles through vineyards, went on a sunrise hot air balloon ride, went parasailing, quad biking and climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

They will also be enjoying a delayed honeymoon in South America.

  1. Beachside wedding is very interesting. I had been to one such wedding at one of exotic Malibu wedding venues. Everything was looking awesome and beautiful there as it was decorated with flowers and balloons.
